Hear country music's newest songs in CMT's The Roundup playlist.

Kenny Chesney, Kacey Musgraves and Jelly Roll are among the superstar artists this week who released new country songs. They join a crop of the genre's best and brightest, including Ian Munsick, Kameron Marlowe and Tenille Townes, who each released what they hope is their next smash hit. Hear these songs and more on CMT's The Roundup playlist.

Kenny Chesney, "Wherever You Are Tonight": "'Wherever You Are Tonight' is simply a song about grieving and holding on, which is what we all do when someone close to us passes. We don't live forever, but the moments, the life experiences, the connection, all the love, it lingers in our life and in our soul forever."

Ian Munsick, "Yippie-I-A": "Cowboy ballads have always had a way of transporting me back to the sagebrush prairies of home. It's high time I made one for myself. In every one of them, you can hear the distant cry of the lone wanderer. But why does he cry? That's exactly what inspired 'Yippie-I-A'. I hope it breaks your heart like only the magic of music can."

Tenille Townes, "The Thing That Brought Me Here": "I wrote this song with Ben Rector about my truck that's become a symbol of the dream for me and a piece of home. It's the only thing I've driven since I started driving, and it drove me 47 hours to move to Nashville from Alberta ten years ago," Townes said. "I want the story of 'The Thing That Brought Me Here' to live on through a song, and I want it to be a reminder to anyone listening that our ambitions are worth holding on to and fighting for. If you would have told the high school kid driving this truck that she'd be living in Nashville writing and recording songs and touring the world, she'd be losing her mind. I never want to let go of that feeling."

Hailey Whitters and Ben Rector, "Color Up My World": "The minute I heard this song, I was instantly sold," Whitters said. "It just makes me feel good. Ben is insanely talented and I was honored he asked me to be a part of it. Every time we sing it, it makes me smile, and it's been fun watching the audience respond in a similar way on tour."

Abbey Cone, "Hallelujah (Live from The Ryman) ": "My first year as an independent artist was surprising in so many ways. One of the biggest surprises was being asked to open up for LeAnn Rimes at The Ryman in December. I've always loved this song because of how powerful it is, and how much it moves people. It's representative of the kind of music I want to create and the way I want to move people with my music, too."

Kameron Marlowe, "Keepin' The Lights On": "I feel like I discovered a lot about myself while making this record. I got to reflect on a lot of life from when I was a kid to life today. This album explores everything from loss to love, depression to joy, and overcoming the voices in your head telling you you're not good enough. I found myself looking at life through a different lens throughout the process. The namesake of the album, 'Keepin' The Lights On' came from a conversation with my dad over the holidays about how he's always thanking the man upstairs for keeping it all together, especially when times get tough. For me, this record is a reminder of hard work, dedication and keeping the promises that we make. It's still crazy to me that people are listening to a small town boy from Kannapolis, N.C., but here I am releasing my second album. I can't wait for y'all to hear it."

David Nail, "If I Could Call": "I haven't found the words to describe how proud I am of this song! It came to me one night without warning and took me over three months to finish. My Grandaddy was my hero and having a son, who I could name after him, was something I dreamed of my entire adult life. This is a tribute to him as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a wonderful man!" Nail said.

Chayce Beckham, "Waylon in ‘75”: “I knew I wanted to cut this song the moment I heard the title. It’s one-of-a-kind, and I love that it’s the first release from my debut project.”

Albums out today:

Kacey Musgraves, "Deeper Well": "My new album, 'Deeper Well,' is out now. 🌱 Grateful to be alive and continuously inspired by life's little mysteries and pleasures. Massive thanks to my team and trusted collaborators," Musgraves said.
