Right this minute, the members of the Eli Young Band are probably on a bus somewhere traveling from show to show. But which bus? That's the question now that a couple of the guys in the band are going to be bringing along their most precious gear -- their babies.

Frontman Mike Eli explained that having kids out on the road is getting better and better. Eli and his wife Kacey have a daughter, Kline Olivia, who will turn 2 this summer when the band is playing the Yamhill County Fair in McMinnville, Ore. And Jon Jones and his wife Sarah have a son, Hudson Lennon, who will be 2 at the end of this year.

"They're getting a little older, so it's gonna be a little bit easier to have them out because their schedules might be a little bit easier," Eli explained in a radio interview. "Especially since our schedule on the road is completely opposite to the kiddos and so, luckily, we have two different buses."

Here's how things breakdown bus-wise for Eli, Jones and bandmates James Young and Chris Thompson.

"We've got the four of us on one that we can use for the kiddos to be able to take their naps and stuff," Eli said. "But that's kind of a new thing, juggling all that. So hopefully they'll be able to come out during the summer for that tour."

The Eli Young Band will be touring this summer on Jake Owen's Days of Gold tour.

"We've known Jake for a long time and really had a great time getting to know him, so it's gonna be really fun to be on an entire tour with him," Eli said.
