Country Music Hall of Famers Alabama, who will be honored by CMT with a "GIANTS" tribute television special later this year, is throwing a star-studded party of their own in the band's hometown of Fort Payne, Alabama. 

The group's June Jam XVIII is set for June 1 at the VFW Fairgrounds. Alabama revived the popular festival for the first time in 26 years in 2023, and fans packed the grounds. This year's lineup includes Old Dominion, Shenandoah, Lee Greenwood, Montgomery Gentry Featuring Eddie Montgomery, Mark Wills, Exile, John Berry, Taylor Hicks, The Malpass Brothers, The Castellows and more. June Jam will benefit those in need and disaster relief in and around their home state.

"Our wishes are that Fort Payne will take June Jam, and it will go on forever," said ALABAMA lead singer Randy Owen. "We lost (guitarist) Jeff (Cook), and when me and (bass player) Teddy (Gentry) are gone, hopefully the city will continue with the June Jam. We want this to continue to help the city, the town, the state, and just help people in general."

In addition to the concert, multiple ancillary events round out the country music experience. The ALABAMA June Jam Parade will launch the festivities 6 p.m. May 29. Teddy Gentry's Singing with the Stars Talent Contest is set for 6 p.m. May 30 at City Hall. An hour later, the late Jeff Cook's All-Star Goodtime Band will perform at The Jeff & Lisa Cook Foundation Concert at Fort Payne's Dekalb Theatre.

Fans can enjoy a 10 a.m. poolside brunch at Cook Castle to benefit The Jeff & Lisa Cook Foundation for $35 the next morning. The June Jam Coin Show is noon- 3 p.m. on May 31 at the Alabama Fan Club, and the ALABAMA June Jam Cornhole Tournament starts at 2:30 p.m. in the fan club's parking lot. 

The ALABAMA June Jam Songwriters Showcase is 7 p.m. May 31 at the Fort Payne City Hall Auditorium and will feature hit songwriters including Lee Thomas Miller, Brice Long and more. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the $75 ticket includes admission to ALABAMA tribute group Boys in the Band, who will perform immediately after the songwriter showcase. 

June Jam begins at noon on Saturday, June 1, and ALABAMA will close the festival.

 Gentry added: "When we started the first June Jam in 1982 as a charity concert event, it was attended by over 30,000 fans. At the time, it was the largest country music festival in the United States. Now we are getting ready for our 18th concert. We want to welcome everyone to Fort Payne, Alabama, our hometown.
