2023 CMT Music Awards Reveals Host Of Austin, Texas, Events Leading Up to Show
THE 2023 CMT Music Awards are headed to Austin, Texas, next week, and there's a host of live and local programming surrounding the main event in which local country music fans can participate.
Entertainment opportunities include multiple performances on stages in downtown Austin starting March 29 and TV tapings with some of country music's biggest stars. The fanfare leads up to the 2023 “CMT MUSIC AWARDS,” hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, that will air LIVE from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on Sunday, April 2nd (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and live and on demand on Paramount+ Premium.*
Fans who want to attend the CMT Music Awards Outdoor Stage, CMT Crossroads, CMT Music Award Ram Side Stage and/or CMT Music Awards LIVE Pre-Show & Red Carpet taping opportunities must register to receive details and tickets for each event. Each event is subject to capacity, and no walk-ups are allowed.

Join CMT’s Cody Alan, Carissa Culiner and Marley Sherwood for a special taping of “CMT Hot 20 Countdown: Live in Austin” with appearances by CMT MUSIC AWARDS co-hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, Russell Dickerson and Lonestar. CMT CROSSROADS: THE BLACK CROWES + DARIUS RUCKER (CMT TAPING)
Multi-platinum rock band The Black Crowes and 3x GRAMMY® award-winning singer-songwriter Darius Rucker are set to headline the next installment of critically-acclaimed music series “CMT Crossroads.” Filming in front of a live audience in the heart of downtown Austin, fans have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be a part of CMT’s longest-running music series.
